In the last 20 years, Corda Lighting has produced thousands of lighting fixtures that it has installed in houses and hotels across Europe, and one of the many that it has produced is the popular Siga.
Namely, it is a lamp that is only 100 millimeters long and uses a light bulb that six years ago “caught the eye” of the client, Nord Produkt (today Nord mobile, op.a.) but with a slope of four percent.
– The version with a 4-stage slope is easily feasible, and colleagues will make a sample as soon as possible – corda said when asked about the potential adjustment of the lamp.
And it is this possibility that is a big difference between Corda and other manufacturers of lighting fixtures. Corda Lighting can make each of its lamps any way the client imagines it.
Thus, after a few short erratic arrangements, a Syga with a diameter of 60/100 thickness of 2.5mm was made.
Shortly after this correspondence, the production of lamps was contracted to be done.
That’s how the blueprints of Sig started with 4 degrees of slope. Since then, more than 10,000 pieces have been produced annually, or nearly 30,000 so far.
And then the Syga spotlights for the headboards of the bed also ‘arrived’.
Let us also mention that the same lamps are still produced today, six years later, according to the needs of the client.
There are frequent cases of Nord house guests accidentally tearing up part or all of the lamp, or Nord decides to renovate one of the houses, i.e. build a new one, and Corda Lighting lamps are there to follow every step. Adapted to each space and made as intended by the client.
