Lighting is an essential element in every hotel, as it not only enables functionality, but also creates an atmosphere that influences the guest experience. Although it is almost unthinkable to stay in a hotel without proper lighting today, the history of electric lighting in hotels begins at the beginning of the 20th century, when Thomas Edison laid the foundations of modern lighting.
