In the world of architecture and interior design, there is an unwritten rule: a project is only as successful as the relationships between all parties involved. When a team of designers, investors and lighting manufacturers understand, listen and complement each other, the result is inevitable – a functional and aesthetically harmonious space in which lighting does not dominate, but complements. Just such an example comes from another project in which Corda Lighting showed everything that makes it stand out.
Studio Kaić Architects (SKA) has collaborated with Corda on several interior design projects, and from the very beginning to this day, the client-investor-designer relationship has remained consistently professional, open, and constructive.

– Everything was always timely and clearly communicated, which is extremely important in this business. What we especially appreciate about Corda is its dedication to support, which we rarely encounter. Whether it was complex lighting fixtures or simpler solutions, we could always count on their expertise and flexibility – said Valentina Kaić Filipović , mag. Ing. arch., CEO of SKA.
She added that investors often have very specific wishes; the same lamp, but in a different color, slightly larger or smaller, and Corda regularly found a way to make them come true.
– During our collaboration, my colleague Marina and I often came up with various creative queries. The answer from Corda would always be an honest and concrete “we can” or “we can’t”. And, honestly, almost every time, they could – she explained.

The latest project, the renovation of the Mižol Wine Bar, like many previous ones, was not just the realization of an idea, but a process in which all parties knew their place. The role of Corda Lighting was not only to produce custom-made lighting fixtures, but also to actively participate in the development of details, from dimensions, colors, and lighting characteristics, to technical implementation in a specific space.
Kaić Filipović particularly emphasizes the fact that Corda employees were always at hand.
– Every time we contacted them, the reaction was quick and efficient, the investor would receive an offer very quickly, and we would receive all the necessary information to continue the project. When someone knows their own capabilities, whether it’s developing lighting fixtures or monitoring the progress of the project, then things happen quickly, precisely and without unnecessary delays – she concluded.
One of the greatest values of Corda Lighting is precisely that direct and fast communication . In projects where deadlines are tight and decisions are made dynamically, the certainty that all information, offers and technical details will be available without delay – is invaluable.

In the end, SKA is satisfied because they got exactly what they wanted – lighting that perfectly matched the dimensions of the space and provided optimal illumination, whether it was decorative or technical lighting.
– Everything was delivered in the exact shades we ordered, without any surprises or deviations, – emphasized Valentina Kaić Filipović.
It is precisely this accuracy and precision in performance that sets Cordu Lighting high above the average. In the design world, when the final result matches the initial idea – no compromises, no deviations – you know you’re working with partners who understand what “custom” means.
And perhaps the most evidence of the level of satisfaction of the entire SKA team is the answer they readily gave when asked whether they would decide to cooperate with the Zagreb-based lighting manufacturer again.
– Absolutely, collaborating with Corda again would be a logical choice. The trust we have built during previous projects is a key reason, we know we can count on them – they said.
Ultimately, this is not just the story of one successful project, but of a partnership that continues and grows. Corda Lighting once again showed that designer lighting is not a luxury, but a synergy of aesthetics, functionality and trust.
