Corda Lighting illuminated the Gaga Polyclinic: ‘We wanted the lighting to be details in the design itself’

Lighting is an important element of every space, and it is especially important in healthcare institutions. It can affect the mood of patients, their comfort and even their recovery.

Polyclinic Gaga is a newly opened dermatological polyclinic in Zagreb. As part of the arrangement, special attention was paid to the lighting design.

– After the technical requirements of the lighting of the health care facility were met, there was a desire to use additional lighting to create a more pleasant environment that would take us a little further away from classic healthcare spaces, for the lighting design to fit into the space, but also to serve as details in the design itself – explained Dr. Iva Crnarić from the Polyclinic.

Cooperation with Corda Lighting

Corda Lighting, a Croatian lighting manufacturer, was hired to create lighting solutions for the Gaga Polyclinic. Corda Lighting is known for its innovative and elegant products that adapt to the specific needs of each space.

In cooperation with the Gaga Polyclinic and Lunixar architectural office, which worked on the interior design of the polyclinic, Corda Lighting developed solutions that meet all the technical requirements of the healthcare facility, but which at the same time create a pleasant and relaxing environment.

In the waiting room and other common areas, Corda Lighting used hanging lamps, i.e. pendants and wall lighting.

Pendants are a type of light fixture that is placed on the ceiling and lowered to the desired height with a hanging cable or chain. They can be made of different materials, such as metal, glass, wood or plastic, and in different styles.

In this case, it is about the popular Siga . They are placed in pairs on the ceiling of the polyclinic reception.

– They satisfied all my requirements that I set, and on the other hand, the clients who come notice and praise the products, which is a sign that we have achieved good results – noted Dr. Crnarić.
