For areas near the shower or bathtub, models with a minimum IP44 rating are recommended, while for the inside of shower cabins or above the bathtub, the standard goes up to IP65. In practice, this means that each lamp must be carefully selected according to its position in the space , as an inadequate IP rating can pose a risk of malfunction or electric shock.
